Our trustees

The Hive was started in 2015 to provide emergency food parcels to individuals and families experiencing crisis.

Kim

One of the founders of The Hive Food Bank, Kim is both Treasurer and a Trustee. By day, she works as a Grant Programme Manager for the RSA, supporting social change initiatives. She has a varied background working in law, research project management and publishing.

Kim holds an MA in Psychosocial Studies from Birkbeck, University of London, focusing on culture, power and identity, and the interplay between them. Her interest in this subject is underpinned by a desire to understand root causes of inequality and support others through compassion, activism and allyship.

Kim can mostly be found walking in muddy fields in West Sussex where she lives with her family, or crafting behind closed doors when she gets a rare window to herself. A piece of her heart remains in North London as a long-time resident of Finsbury Park.
